Six students (Nicholas Martins, Marika Prinsloo, Pieter Kock, Vincent Vazolla, Devon vd Merwe and Jaco Prinsloo), accompanied by Sensei Rudi (Coach) and parents: Trudie, Marina and Marco, participated in the WKC World Championships in Darmstadt, Germany during October 2004.

Our video evenings were held at the Wierdapark dojo because no house was big enough anymore. The groups were also split into juniors and seniors.

Eight of our students qualified for Provincial Colours.

Twenty two students from the Eagles Karate Club traveled to PE in July to participate in the SASKA National Championship. They came back with 43 medals and ranked 7th out of the 24 clubs (total points).

Our camp was held at Alte-lekker. Sensei’s Carel (Pressure points) and Anton (Kicks) assisted by teaching some of the classes while Sensei Rudi assisted as Tournament Director at the 1st Cass Challenge in Pretoria.

We started building our own dojo (Sport Centre) in January. The progress was slow, hampered by weeks of rain, unforeseen expenses and difficulties with suppliers. The plan was to start in December and finish by the middle of January. In the end we started in January and only finished after the start of the second school term (end of March).

We opened a new training hall in Rooihuiskraal which will be operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
